  1. One of the pluses of having your porch screens blown out due to all the winter wind storms is that you can take pictures of the widlife without a hazy screen in front of you. I dread the day that I have to break out the screen and spline to replace all the screens that got ripped up this winter.

  2. Warm but overcast. Somewhat strong SSW wind. Surf could be decent but a bit fast and closed out for an old long boarder like me. And yay! Another red balloon! The holiday that keeps giving.

  3. First time out in the water prone paddling since January. Been rucking on the beach to stay in shape (hiking in deep sand, at a pace less than 15, wearing a ruck pack, and carrying a 60lb sandbag on my shoulders). Good exercise. Nothing compared to prone paddling. Surfing, rucking, running, and swimming wasn't enough to get me prepared to a few miles prone paddling at speed in a wetsuit.

On my hike this morning, I hugged the waterline around the point. It is amazing how much it has migrated North East. This shows my walk superimposed over google maps (from a few years ago). It is almost half the distance it was from Ramp 43.

  6. The bigger Solo Stove we got a few years ago. These things burn hot and you can get a fire going in seconds. Awesome way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
