Can you diagnose/monitor your electric vehicle through an open standard? Kinda, sometimes.
Most EVs have onboard telematics. Manufacturers usually offer an app, maybe an API. The Zoe has My Renault app. There are Python bindings for the private API https://renault-api.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html. I think both require an active subscription, paid to Renault.
Some EVs have an OBD-II port. EV metrics such as battery health use adhoc codes/formats. For the a Zoe there is CanZE https://canze.fisch.lu/
