A beautiful drive up through Torfaen and Monmouthshire as the sunrise was casting swathes of amber light across the rolling hills.
Sadly no pics of the journey and Llanfoist Crossing #Parkrun turned out not to be a favourite. A long and relentless incline for the first half and somewhat chaotic at the end.

so i realize this is not a "good picture" but i thought this was super cool. that tiny little blob in the middle with its wings out is a belted kingfisher hovering in the air. i honestly thought it was a kestrel the way it was hovering at first but it ended up landing in a tree and i could tell its a kingfisher. it was just here in this spot in the air for an extended period of time though. it was awesome.

Well, it feels like I could have watched that Pens vs. #winnipeg jets game in 1994 when #66 came to town…but I do think the Jets did well and stuck to this year's game plan. They just ran into a hot goalie. Also, must say that Sid the kid was in good form. Always find it interesting how many Winnipeggers have Pens jerseys (I understand Leafs and Habs, but Pens stand out). #winnipegjets #cantwinemall
