Das ist so ein Tag, um sich mal wieder in aller Ruhe in den #CantoOstinato zu verlieren. Heute mal in der Interpretation des niederländischen Mallet Collective, gespielt auf zwei Vibraphonen und drei Marimbas. Eine für Neulinge gut geeignete Version, die mit etwas über einer Stunde Spielzeit auskommt.
Sicher nix für alle musikalischen Geschmäcker. Aber wer auf repetetive, minimalistische Pattern-Musik steht, die zu klanglicher Feinwahrnehmung und Meditation einlädt, wird es lieben.
Das Video enthält in den ersten zwei Minuten ein kurzes Intro, bevor es losgeht.

Ik ben gisteren naar een mooie uitvoering van de "Canto Ostinato" geweest in het muziekgebouw in #eindhoven. Uitgevoerd op orgel en trompet door Aart Bergwerff & Eric Vloeimans, kleine uitsnede uit een ander optreden: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehg9oO_giVU . For the past few months I've been enamored with "Canto Ostinato", a highly meditative repetitive music composition by dutch composer Simeon Ten Holt.
