Police force in the parade. But what has me curious is this exchange in the open windows above the street. Is it a friendly conversation or an argument?

The ladies of the Polish Group spotted the theft and now they are counting their cashbox.
(Again, this is just supposition from 2025)

This guy seems to have been caught skimming from the cash box. And that high schooler on the left has seen him doing it. Little do they know, there's photographic evidence
(OK, I don't actually know what's going on here, but it makes a good story)

July 4, 1964. The parade is over and folks are gathering at the high school for the fireworks. Under the risers is the food. I'm guessing these are separate groups all using food as a fundraising opportunity.

July 4, 1963: And the parade draws to a close. Note the line of vintage cars coming along Pike Street as the street is reopened to traffic.

July 1963. A very young person stands happily on a mowed lawn at dusk. I think given the dates and other slides I've processed that this is Lisa Falcione on her first birthday.

Wedding photos if you have an approximate date and location can be a good way of identifying people.

Szalarski (maid of honor), James Japp and Eugene Cantermiry (ushers), Patricia Hudzienski and Judy Moyer (bridesmaids), Faith Ann Maggi (flower girl) and Scott Falcione (ring bearer)

I've moved on from the Acapulco slides to those of a 1st birthday party, circa Dec. 1960. These are much earlier than any of my other slides from Canonsburg. The majority of them are from 1965-1985.
Edited: 2/12: This series of photos has taken me down another genealogical rabbit hole. The girl on the left is Faith Ann Maggi (verified by newspaper). I don't know the birthday girl. The baby boy is probably Scott Falcione's younger brother. The boy on the end is Scott.

Christmas 1976: A family poses in front of a Christmas tree. I know the house is Edward and Dorothy Wainer's hosue in Canonsburg. The people, I don't recognize. I also don't know if the Wainers had children of their own.
March 1961, Edward Wainer shovels the path from his home. #ColorSlide #SlideScanning #CanonsburgPA #1961 #snow
After about 150 medium frame slides, I'm back to the Canonsburg slides. These are ones I had separated to sort before scanning and then forgot about. #SlideScanning #35mm #VintagePhotography #CanonsburgPA
I'm working on the slides I bought off eBay again. This is another view of Canonsburg, PA during a 1972 4th of July Parade. For comparison is a street view screen shot.
