You can also export the static site to host it on Codeberg or the host of your choice.

I've been meaning to share this for a while, but for any Android users out who want to use a text-to-speech engine other than Google's, I recommend Sherpa TTS: https://github.com/woheller69/ttsEngine
It's open source, offline, multilingual, and available on F-Droid.
I use text-to-speech a lot with my RSS readers (Feeder and ReadYou), and it's been a game-changer.

Recently found out that the Blackmagic Camera app (by the makers of #DaVinciResolve) is available on Android!!! 😁
But it's only available on a select few devices, which doesn't include my phone... 😔
Luckily, I did some digging, and was able to get the app using the #AuroraStore (via #Fdroid). It's a Play Store alternative frontend that allows you to browse anonymously and spoof your device.

2. Another option could be to use #CaptionNinja: https://caption.ninja. It's a #WebCaptioner replacement, and only works on Chrome (and co). Caption Ninja is cool, though, because:
- it has a live feed that can be shared with others or added into #OBS as a browser source overlay thingie
- it seems pretty customizable (https://github.com/steveseguin/captionninja),
- it has a manual text entry mode (for stenographers?)
- can add speaker labels -

I also found and tried https://wormhole.app and https://webwormhole.io because I didn't realize that Magic Wormhole and Wormhole are two different things... 🫣 I really liked https://wormhole.app's QR code scan!

I was on the hunt for an #RSS to #ActivityPub bridge, and @Barredo's @mastofeed seems to be it!
I just had to sign in with my Mastodon account, and add my RSS feed. Mastofeed can then track new RSS entries and post them on my behalf.
I used Publii to generate the static site + RSS feed, and it worked beautifully. Mastofeed can even upload the post's featured image.
Can't wait to leverage this for my future blog!

For the #PocketPortal workshop, I wanted to include a clickable SMS link in one of the page examples. Clicking it would open the texting app with text and phone number set, inspired by moonshine.mu's "SMS for location".
You may have encountered similar links which use mailto: (for email) and tel: (for telephone) in the site's #html markup.

The day of the presentation, I clicked on the #onlyoffice present icon, and panicked when the full screen slides appeared, but not the speaker notes. 😨 With other apps, it usually appears automatically when there are 2 screens.
Anyway, ended up propping my phone on my laptop and consulting my notes there.
Today, I re-opened the slide deck, and noticed a little ▼ by the present icon...
Turns out "Show Presenter View" was right there, all along, and it works wonderfully! 🤦🏿♀️
