  1. @lightbocks Appreciate the words.

"#Petri dishes" are not far wrong, more in the sense that we are made from #bacteria or things that #grow / #work #together - else we die or get taken over (by #cancerous #cells: #Trump and co.)

People need to be more #viral else they settle or worse accept the #bad #games / bad work done to their children that we should be pass on more towards #Freedom/ #Freedoms.

Not selling ppl / planet / pretending everything isn't a scientifically designed trap. 👍

  2. Scientists promising breakthroughs in fight against #cancer with one new therapy appearing to kill #tumors without damaging healthy flesh. #Novartis radioligand therapy targets mutations in tumors, delivering radiation only where it is needed, unlike ordinary radiotherapy which kills non-cancerous cells as well as #cancerous ones. In a trial, the Novartis treatment removed all disease from 21% of patients whose cancers had spread around the body. #medicine #healthcare pharmaboardroom.com/articles/r

  3. Zavaleta said that to achieve a successful #resection, the #surgeon must cut the #cancerous tissue while keeping it encapsulated in an unbroken layer of regular healthy tissue. If that encapsulation is incomplete or broken, it could mean that parts of the #tumor remain inside the patient.

Aspartame sweetener ‘possible carcinogen’ but safe in moderation
  6. MIT #engineers have designed a new #nanoparticle #sensor that could enable early diagnosis of #cancer with a simple #urine test. The sensors, which can detect many different #cancerous #proteins, could also be used to distinguish the type of a #tumor or how it is responding to treatment.

  7. Yesterday was a pretty mixed bag. We got a call from the #Surgical #Oncologist confirming that the two #biopsies were #cancerous, :btr_bocchi_pain:which wasn’t surprising, but was still hard to hear. :fuminodepression3:

Later that evening, our son (who lives just around the corner) came over to see us (but mostly Sami, who’s his birth mom), and after some talking, we watched a #movie he hadn’t seen before - #GhostInTheShell 🤖. We had a lot of great #discussions after that. All in all, a good night. 💤
