  1. The Canadian Premier League will become the first professional competition to stage an official pilot of an alternative offside law proposed by former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. japantimes.co.jp/sports/2026/0 #soccer #arsenewenger #canadianpremierleague #fifa

  2. This is brilliant fun. The Canadian Premier League final between Atlético Ottawa and Cavalry FC played in a snowstorm. Snowiest pitch I’ve ever seen, even more than the legendary Snow Clasico USMNT game against Costa Rica in Denver back in 2013. Worth watching the video. And kudos to the penalty taker in short sleeves.

What a messy, ugly game today for my #PacificFC vs the Langley Penis Birds in the #CanPL.

Reffing was horrible, but at least it was horrible both ways.

I am absolutely die hard Pacific FC for life, but my team simply cannot score goals. It's been this way since we let Wero Diaz go 2 years ago. Look at the team's history - it's all 1 goal differentials when we win, or 2-3 goal differentials when we lose.

Big congrats to CS Saint-Laurent, a semi-pro team for their win against the #CanadianPremierLeague side Halifax Wanderers in the #CanChamps for #soccer #football.

    What a victory.

And we almost had another semi-pro team advance last night, when my beloved #PacificFC just barely squeaked by #TSSRovers on pens.

  12. The #CanadianPremierLeague has started it’s season! This is match day 6 and I wish that I’d known earlier. I grew to love this league from what I was able to watch last season. I’m glad that it exists and I hope it thrives. From what I could gather it’s existence is not without its struggles. I wonder what ever happened with Edmontons ownership situation? I shall explore.

Edit: FC Edmonton, dissolved as November of 2022. Sad to see, survived the NASL and the start of the CPL.
