Could we make #FalconFriday a thing? 🤔 I was meandering the back roads of #Alberta today in search of canola fields, and came across the sweetest merlin. A female--or possible a juvenile, as she was equal parts wary of me as curious (my shirt was also the same colour as her, so... 🤷🏻♀️). I particularly love the little "fascinator" feather on her head. She let me get within 5-6 feet of her and she modelled for me for several minutes.

I live less than 45 minutes from #ElkIslandNationalPark. And while I've never seen a single elk in all the times I've been there, I do see bison on the regular. Hoping to get out to the park when the weather warms up here this weekend.
