  5. Day 4 of the #CanadaTrip and we spent a final morning at Point Pelee before moving on to Hillman marsh. A group of 19 Turkey Vulture rode a thermal along with 5 Broad-winged Hawk; Orchard Oriole was seen again and we had to have a final look at Prothonotary Warbler. Before we left the Park, news came of an unusual sighting. Many visitors headed for the spot but I'm glad to say the bird was not disturbed.

  6. Day 3 of the trip to #Canada We got up early to ensure we could get to the tip of Point Pelee National Park (the southernmost point of mainland #Canada) in time for #sunrise. We managed it and saw a 'reverse migration' where birds appear to head south (instead of north). What an experience and our first good day of #warbler species. Fabulous.
