Hey local Canadians - with the CdaPost strike in rotating mode, does anyone know if the post offices in pharmacies etc are accepting packages for shipment?
Are they even open? Not sure if those are postal employees or not.

Just watched our postal delivery person pull up and leave the parking lot in a brand NEW Unmarked Delivery Van!
Note: No Amazon packages were visible so he's not suddenly working for their delivery service

Extremely depressed about Canada Post workers (RIGHTFULLY) striking again. I love the mail service...
I'm more just so so disappointed in the upper management groups utter failings, and the overpayment of CEOs and upper management; with some sort of expectations that the people with real boots on the ground aren't worthy of the requested pay increases and benefits.
(It is also scary seeing external audit groups/fed gov departments saying Canada Post is insolvent????? huh???)

When I walked uptown to run an errand today (taking pictures of cycle parking infrastructure!😀 ) I had an encounter that I had hoped might happen. I met up with our neighbourhood Canada Post letter carrier. I was able to tell her that I support her union's job action, and that I'm angry that the federal government forced postal workers back to work today. And I wished her well.

Spent the last three days shipping orders with FedEx (the cheapest courier) and delivering some orders locally for free! Want to make sure that everyone receives their orders by Christmas Day.

Earlier today I listened to a stranger refuse to accept that Canada Post is on strike.
He was trying to mail off a package. The poor patient person behind the counter was explaining that they can’t accept any mail right now due to the strike.
The man with a mission was very confused and kept insisting all he need to do was mail off his package.
Perhaps he thought elves have taken over Canada Post’s delivery routes? 🧝
