I'd be happy to receive Canada as an EU member eventually. Our continent has a lot in common with Canada, especially culturally and in regard to societal values.
Moreover as a Dutch person I am still very grateful for what Canada did for us during the world war II.So Canada, please come and join us in the EU and benefit from each other economically, besides culturally. 🧡

I keep hearing that reddit.com/r/canada is a right-wing haven.
I'm not seeing it, based on this thread about Canada rescinding the Digital Services Tax (DST).
The DST is absolutely stupid, and should have never been enacted.
We hate Americans for instituting a tariff?
Canadians are not innocent, and it's not OK. It's just another pot calling the kettle black.
Previously, I have complained about leftists doing stupid stuff, but when someone makes an intelligent comment about why leftists are not actually stupid, I immediately back down.
But this, I'm definitely digging my heels on.
