This is adorable. It was raining and a parent has a wing over at least a couple of babies, to shelter them from the weather.
This was taken with a telephoto lens and I moved cautiously. Unlike what is seen in those videos about "crazy geese," we felt no need to walk on the boardwalk to push their boundaries, we did not wave our arms about, and when we left, they stayed.
