Around #solstice, the #sunlight of the setting Sun fills a room in my house. The door of that room has a small #keyhole that lets a bit of light go outside the room, projecting it onto a hallway wall. It becomes like a giant #CameraObscura. Here's a short #timelapse of todays' #Sun at sunset projected on the wall.

Some #accidental #cameraobscura happening with these shelves Ali made from cardboard and joint compound plaster. I poked little holes in backs when they were cardboard so I could run wires through to light up some of my doodles. I didn't even realize what we had made till the room was dark.
The custom shelves are really neat, each cubby with a doodle glows a different color!

Closed with wooden panels, the houses of Doel were unintentionally transformed into cameras obscuras. By drilling a simple hole in the panel, the houses were now able to take their "own image", latent for many years.
