Miguel Hidalgo triplicará reforestación y plantará 600 árboles durante 2026
• Al cierre del año se habrán reverdecido parques, jardines y camellones de la demarcación. • Presentan el calendario de jornadas del programa Reverdece MH para las próximas semanas.

Al encabezar la Jornada Reverdece MH en la Alameda Tacubaya, el alcalde de Miguel Hidalgo, Mauricio Tabe, anunció que la demarcación triplicará el número de árboles afectados por las fuertes lluvias registradas durante los últimos meses y alcanzará la plantación de 600 nuevos ejemplares al cierre de 2026.
Tabe explicó que, desde el inicio de la temporada de lluvias, la Alcaldía ha plantado ya 300 árboles y que durante agosto y septiembre se sembrarán otros 300, con lo que no sólo se repondrán los ejemplares que resultaron afectados, sino que se superará la meta inicial de reforestación.
“Llevamos 300 árboles plantados desde el inicio de la temporada de lluvias y durante agosto y septiembre vamos a plantar 300 más; es decir, vamos a llegar a 600. Se habían contabilizado cerca de 200 árboles afectados, entonces vamos a quedar por encima de las expectativas”, afirmó.
El alcalde subrayó que este esfuerzo permitirá atender las afectaciones provocadas por las lluvias torrenciales del pasado 11 de junio y, al mismo tiempo, fortalecer el patrimonio ambiental de la demarcación para mantener y mejorar sus parques, jardines y camellones.
En el caso de la Alameda Tacubaya, destacó que las cuadrillas de la Dirección Ejecutiva de Medio Ambiente y Sustentabilidad realizaron trabajos integrales de recuperación, entre ellos la plantación de 3 mil 500 plantas y la restitución de nueve árboles.
“Estamos aquí en la Alameda de Tacubaya, que fue uno de los compromisos. Se plantaron más de 3 mil 500 plantas y se restituyeron nueve árboles. Hoy estamos aquí después de varios días de estar haciendo esta labor y así vamos a ir a otros parques y otros camellones”, señaló.
Tabe recordó que, desde la creación de la Dirección Ejecutiva de Medio Ambiente y Sustentabilidad, también se ha fortalecido la colaboración con la iniciativa privada, vecinos y distintos sectores de la sociedad para ampliar la superficie de áreas verdes bajo esquemas de adopción.
“Pasamos de 14 a 17 hectáreas que teníamos, con más de 700 espacios adoptados, y seguimos promoviendo la adopción de áreas verdes por parte de nuestras vecinas y vecinos y de quienes desarrollan una actividad económica, empresarios, restauranteros; en fin, todos aquellos que se quieren sumar al cuidado del planeta. Los estamos invitando a participar en este esfuerzo para que Miguel Hidalgo reverdezca”, precisó.
El alcalde reconoció al equipo de la Dirección Ejecutiva de Medio Ambiente y Sustentabilidad, encabezado por Sergio Aburto Sánchez, por impulsar el programa Reverdece MH y avanzar en la recuperación y mantenimiento de los espacios públicos de la demarcación.
Por su parte, Sergio Aburto Sánchez, director ejecutivo de Medio Ambiente y Sustentabilidad, informó que en la Alameda Tacubaya se llevaron a cabo más de 112 acciones de saneamiento, poda y destoconado de árboles, como parte de los trabajos integrales de recuperación del espacio.
Asimismo, presentó el calendario de las próximas jornadas de Reverdece MH, que continuarán en las siguientes semanas en distintos puntos de la alcaldía, entre ellos:
• Camellón de Campos Elíseos, en el tramo de Arquímedes a Julio Verne.
• Bosques de las Lomas.
• Lago Ginebra, entre Calzada Legaria y San Joaquín.
• Calzada México-Tacuba, en el tramo de Ingenieros Militares a General Arista.
• Parque Lira.
• Huerto Urbano de Parque Lincoln.
• Cuchilla de Tacuba.Finalmente, Mauricio Tabe aseguró que la Alcaldía continuará trabajando en la reforestación, recuperación y mantenimiento de parques, jardines y camellones, además de sumar a vecinos, empresas y organizaciones al cuidado de las áreas verdes.
“Eso significa Reverdece MH: que entre todos hagamos de Miguel Hidalgo una alcaldía más verde, más bonita y con los mejores espacios para vivir”, concluyó. –sn–
