Anyhoodles, I'm Knizer, this has been another #Massachusetts centric-thread I compiled after digging through a variety of sources (below) to find gems. I do this for fun, to meet people, and I believe it crucial that social media be somewhat ... social.There's no algorithm feeding you stuff, so if you've found this compilation useful, pass this on by boosting or maybe by telling your non-fediverse friends that you found out about a cool event from here. It's all word of mouth. And a simple like or a 'hi' keeps me curating this unpaid pet project. Be safe out there, have fun!

As someone who lives on a hill in somerville but is separated from the mystic by a mile and a highway, I sometimes forget how close we are to the water - but also am blissfully unawares of cannons. Is there a 'local #eastie paper' anymore? We've got the #CambridgeDay which has a great Events listing now (and I regularly poach from that page), but with the death of free weeklies, I'm not sure where to find out about whats going on in #EastBoston.
