Extremely hazardous stretch of road, as it's a straightaway and people get up to 60mph or whatnot there... There is a bicycle lane with rumble strips, but I am not foolhardy enough to do that route, even though lots of people do. (freeway speed cars and someone losing attention or not caring, and you are dead). This is one area where you really need a separate bicycle/pedestrian route away from the road (yes, complicated by right of way)

"....The victim received a phone call from an unknown individual claiming to work for “McAfee Security.” The caller alleged that the victim’s bank account information may have been compromised and provided enough specific details including accurate bank information to appear legitimate. Over the following days, the suspect convinced the victim to withdraw $84,000 in cash and meet with a supposed “McAfee Security” employee. The victim was also instructed to provide a verbal security code before handing over the money...."
