This week's #GrindayFriday is one of my favorites -- one man SoCal goregrind project BODILY STEW that started in 2022.

It's gross, fast, and has that snare. Played this one a lot this year, especially in the car. Don't usually post splits here but the Putrescine Inhalation (2 piece Cali goregrind) at the end of this 'Cranial Decimation' split is also good.

Atascadero, California's MANGLED MESS makes some great, gross death metal - perfect for today's bonus #ThursDeath. It's rough, primitive sounding - that just adds to its disgusting appeal.

Mangled Mess' self titled EP came out earlier this year. I'd consider it a must-hear for fans of grosser stuff. Angry growling, slow, chuggy riffs - the whole EP is only 14 minutes long, over 8 tracks. Some horror type sound effects here and there, but not too much. I dig it.
