  3. When the #ChicoState chapter of the California Faculty Association (#CFA_United) goes on #strike this coming week (Jan 22-26), we'll be holding daily, noon-time "encuentros" (rallies), with open-mics to talk about #issues. A march/action will follow!

  4. My employer, #ChicoState has released a report based on its "campus climate" survey. There's quite a few telling items in it, representative of widespread frustration across the #CaliforniaStateUniversity system, which has culminated in the collective bargaining stalemate with the #CaliforniaFacultyAssociation and administrators.

    The survey was collected from April 27 through May 15, 2023, which resulted in a 41% response rate for faculty.
