I saw “Calamity Jane” starring Doris Day. For the era it came out, the 1950s, when America had no gays, it was pretty bold. Heteros might have missed a lot of the queer references, but for the LGBTQ folks of the age, it was a campy beacon of light. Even as a kid, I knew that Calamity Jane ends up with Katie Brown

Here’s a short interview with Tim Rozon that I’d missed.

Hadn’t realized he has a role in ‘Law and Order Toronto’. In a weird coincidence that character is named Roman Rush, while in SurrealEstate he’s in the principal role of Luke Roman.

Law and Order isn’t a franchise I have any interest in, but I might check it out for Rozon and for Toronto getting to be itself.

And it turns out he’s also in a main role in the upcoming movie ‘Calamity Jane’ and reprises his role in the 90-minute Wynonna Earp special coming to Tubi.
