Sorry I can't share my calamansi with you. We're in a Queensland fruit fly quarantine zone, so I can't take them out of my neighbourhood.
This is just a handful - might give marmalade a go.

For my birthday I bought myself a calamansi tree. Along with key lime and oval kumquat. Adds to the collection I’m growing: Lisbon lemon, Meyer lemon, Tahitian lime, yellow and ruby grapefruit, blood orange, Washington navel orange, multiple varieties of mandarins, tangelo, round kumquats and yuzu.

Some time ago I caught sight of a little maya bird 🐦 plucking a leaf off my little #calamansi 🍋🟩 plant and flying off with it. 'Twas cute. 😄
Well, today I discover that all* the leaves have been plucked off of it. The #birds left the 3 little fruits and and made a mess of the little pebbles. I guess that's the end of my 🍋🟩 plant. ☹️
I mean, what are the odds that any new leaf 🌿 will sprout? It hasn't made any new ones since I bought it last year.

My kid wants dessert, digs about in freezer, pulls out a quart container, then asks us...
"Do you want any Calamari and Mango Sorbet?"
me: "Wut? Huh? "
my spouse: "Calamansi! Not calamari! OMG!"

I have 1-2 kg of #calamansi / #calamondin . It's a sour little orange originated in Philippines and cultivated in Mexico (mines comes from a neighbor's backyard). I had them in beverages but I've been told they're used in south Asian cuisine. Someone here has a #Recipe using them?
Edit: Thank you for all the ideas and recipes. I love to try new flavors and I will make some of them. Have a nice Sunday 😊

I was surprised #AnYuJin (#안유진), of #IVE, is familiar with calamansi (Tagalog: kalamansi).
#Calamansi (Philippine English) is a tiny Philippine fruit packed with Vitamin C. It is also called “Philippine lime” or “Philippine lemon”. Calamansi is dominant in the #Philippines and is an integral part of #Filipino cuisine, as well as, in #health.
I guess this fruit is popular in #Korea and is known by its Philippine English name “calamansi”.
