#CakesAndCarnival 2 more interesting costumes: this mornings Weissnarr (white fool) is wearing hand painted linen, the wooden mask hand carved.
But there‘s another tradition in certain areas called a Hansele/Hänsele: made of countless felt patches (Blätz), sequins and tiny bells. The fabric hood looks a bit like a mosquito.
A rather unique one is called the Hoorige Bär (hairy bear) that consists of a wooden mask, the rest is straw, sown onto fabric clothes for ease of wear.
