  1. Something a bit different. This was shot last Wednesday morning just after sunrise from the summit of Càrn na Drochaide in The Cairngorms National Park. It’s taken with a phone so as I pan you can see the familiar “sunspot” on the lens. The high pitched peep that you can hear is the call of a Golden Plover, who kept me company for most of the time I was pitched up…… #CairngormsNP #Scotland

  2. Lochnagar today. Swirling clouds, stags growing new antlers, ptarmigan aplenty and coires full of snow #Lochnagar #CairngormsNP #Scotland

  14. A male ptarmigan in flight. The camouflage on a ptarmigan is so effective for most of the year. As I was watching other ptarmigan all of a sudden, and not far in front of me, this one flew up from the ground as if out of nowhere. In the Southern Cairngorms last week #CairngormsNP #Scotland

  15. From last Wednesday. This is the view looking north west from above the head of Glen Callater. To the left is the summit of Carn an Tuirc with Loch Kander below. Further down the Glen to the right is Loch Callater. This is a stitch of six shots taken from a drone #CairngormsNP #Scotland #DJI
