Good weather has come back for a while, but still a cold wind. Headed up Càrn Mòr, a Corbett above the Lecht ski centre. The ski infrastructure is always grim, so avoided it and found a landrover track heading up from about a km beyond the ski centre.
Lots of boggy peat groughs, but easy walking higher up.

Hello. We got down to -6.3 here last night. The lowest I’ve seen in a wee while. It’s braw out today and I’d love a photo day out, but I need to conserve my energy for a trip away next week. 🙁 Today I’m sharing a Loch Morlich view. in the Cairngorms National Park. I called it ‘snow on the tops’ but this year, so far, there’s been none. It’s worrying. Cairngorms is the only alpine-arctic environment in the UK.
