Con el tiempo, el cine, los juegos de rol, los cómics y las novelas mezclaron todas estas historias hasta crear una única gran leyenda que hoy muchos dan por antigua.
¿Existe alguna prueba de que todo esto sea real?
No.
No existe ningún manuscrito antiguo que diga que Caín fue un vampiro.
No hay ningún texto judío o cristiano reconocido que afirme que Lilith creó una raza de inmortales.
Y el famoso Libro de Nod no es un evangelio perdido, sino una obra de ficción contemporánea.
Sin embargo, resulta fascinante comprobar cómo unos pocos silencios de la Biblia, unidos a siglos de imaginación, ocultismo y literatura, terminaron dando vida a una de las leyendas más famosas del mundo.
Porque a veces los grandes mitos no nacen de lo que dicen los libros... sino de todo aquello que dejaron sin explicar.

Enjoy #galactica Season 2 . It along with Season 3 and The #Resistance mini series about life in occupied New #Caprica are too good. Blurs the line on what is right and acceptable#Cain is no anti-hero. She is a first rate B***h.
Her cruelty, as seen in #Razor and her driving her subordinates to disregard any morality, like what she did to #KendraShaw, is appalling. She lacks empathy and any morality. Fighting against a #genocidal species of #robots, can do that -

We should not overlook that both, #Adama and President #Roslyn, wanted #Cain assassinated, just as #Cain wanted #Adama gone. Just shows how brutal and cut throat the politics and power play were in the 12 colonies of #Cyrannus star system.
Makes one wonder about #Adama's speech at the start of the series, where he rhetorically ask whether and humanity is worth saving.

Normally, the father is the one listed as naming the children, but it's Eve who names both Cain and Abel in Genesis 3. Adam isn't involved.
Eve names Seth, but in Gen 5 (spoiler!), the text says Adam does, so the implication is that they both did.
And perhaps this is the point.

#Genesis 4:8 describes Cain's action as harag הָרַג. Ratzah means murder, not
#kill. Was Cain's action against Abel justified? Was there a reason why YHWH allowed Cain to flee? Some Christians use the 6th Commandment as an excuse to stop abortion, not knowing the translation "Thou shalt not kill" is flawed. Does ratzah require moral judgement?
