Parametric #CADs let you specify constraints on the sizes, distances and angles between certain lines, which can be adjusted at any time.

After drawing the outlines of the HDMI and ETH connectors on the front face in the Sketch workbench, I wanted #FreeCAD to punch them as holes through the bracket's thickness.

#gCAD3D saved me many times, is a small application that open #DXFs the older versions, but save files into #IGES or #STEP and permit me to works with plans of others, sometime is hard to opens file from other but in somewhat this small application heal those messy #CADs, it is only 1.7mb, it opens also STEP or IGES but isn't always the best way, but many times is the only way.

#Linux users that need a good #CAD they should consider to buy #Plasticity3D, is an awesome CAD very powerful and trust me is that. It has the Parasolid Kernel and is one of the most adopted kernel by professional #CADs.

Yesterday I noticed that I had many windows opened, and several pages on #FireFox, Blender in the background with a huge file, as well as other forgotten, Moi3D and other #CADs, I started watching an HD movie with #VLC, and I noticed that I couldn't hear the fans noise, before with #XFCE, which should be light, I had the fans spinning constantly with spikes, #LXQt is great, I won't install any other desktop manager in the future, it has everything, including miscellaneous file icons, fantastic.

That's why I find it very useful to use Blender's beziér curves that give me the possibility to control the orientation of the normals with the "Tilt" command, this type of handrail is distorted in many #CADs, with #Moi3D and FreeCAD errors are generated with the same curves but #Blender is flawless. #Palsticity3D result is twisted randomly while Moi3D don't make a single surface, but what concern me is the joined surfaces in the latest image.😭 #b3d #Blender3D #CAD

How many #Maya, #3DMax, #Houdini, #C4D, #modo, #Zbrush, #CADs and etc, users have also #Blender installed? Not counting all the others who only use Blender!
who knows how many PCs it is installed on. I think the proportion can very high and on this I bet all in! #b3d #Blender
