@Dylan I don’t have time to pursue that hobby currently. I just can’t sit down and listen the way I used to, so I mostly use my HomePod (gen 1), and since I only have one, it’s not even stereo! 😱

I used to have a pair of #Cabasse in exotic bubinga wood. They were fabulous. I left them with a friend years ago. The brand belongs to Canon now, and very niche.

I’ll go to a proper listening room before deciding on my next pair. Who knows when that will happen. 😬

I recorded songs on blank cassettes from the radio, because I couldn’t afford commercial recordings. By the time I got my first job, I still had fewer than a dozen home recorded cassettes. After that, I could afford a SONY 5 disc CD player, but not a sound system, so I listened to everything on a headset.

I was 35 before I could buy my first #Cabasse speakers and a #NAD integrated amplifier to power them. They were brilliant, though!
