It’s a goose (I hope) in Byres Road

I’m always a bit worried when I refer to ducks or geese in art, after I managed to get this completely wrong after catching some art/murals where the colouring was duck, but the characteristics were goose.

I’m still not really sure if it was the artist, or me, that was wrong.

I’m going with goose for this one, spotted as I was heading into Great Western Road from Byres Road, with an obvious landmark in the background. Long time since I visited, and thwarted this time – note the person with the brolly. They were smart, I wasn’t, and had to abort the idea when the heavens opened, and I was without mine.

Oh well, maybe next time.

I’ve fixed this pic so that those without a smartphone are not disadvantaged!

Seems there’s a collection of these pieces around the city (note the #3 on this one).

I might catch some more, but I no longer go hunting sets like this down, like some sort of Pavlovian moron that has been triggered by some mindless desire to ‘Catch them all’.
