There are nice tools like #Lutris making gaming for other platforms than #Steam available, i.e. gog.com. Played a round of #Frostpunk. Not particularly successful, but the graphics, the background story and the gaming are to my taste.
Does not miss anything since I quitted Windows usage. For online banking I found a nice alternative with Jameica/Hibiscus in the meantime.

The system's response times are unusually fast under Debian. Whether it's launching programs, their native speed or switching within the desktop. I've installed several, formerly Windows-based, programs like LibreOffice, Lazarus, FreeCAD, kiCAD, Gimp, FreePlane, Gramps and Kdenlive. So, the transition shouldn't be too difficult for me in the end. Besides, I've been using Debian on my laptop for museum work for quite a long time.

I'm surprised at how smoothly it's been going so far. #Signal Messenger installed, #Nextcloud migrated with two accounts, #Steam is running.
I'll probably choose Evolution as my email client; it has very good calendar and contact integration.
