I just closed my WhatsApp account and switched completely to Signal. I immediately set up a monthly donation. Feels liberating. Hopefully some of my WhatsApp contacts will follow suit.

I have uninstalled Instagram, Threads, and Facebook and am not going to be using any profiles on there any more. At the moment I cannot be bothered to delete all my accounts but I have left messages on those platforms for people to follow me elsewhere, as in on my personal blog or on Mastodon. Felt like the only course of action I feel comfortable with, Meta has always been bad but this last week just was too much. #ByeByeMeta #ByeByeFacebook #ByeByeInstagram #byeByeThreads

Suppression des comptes Facebook et Instagram - check

Je n'ai jamais été une utilisatrice de Facebook (la pression sociale de quand j'étais jeune et innocente), mais Insta, j'aimais bien.

Dommage que j'aime pas le patron.

(Et l'algo, l'addiction, etc, etc..)
