NICOLE: Many many years ago there was only one theatre, The Tower of Babel Theatre, with only one act. It was a long serious play that explained everything. It explained how the world worked, how the world didn't work, and why men were so often irrational and self-defeating. Everything was laid bare. Unfortunately, making everything clear for the whole world threatened God's terror-grip on man, so he destroyed the theatre and split up the act into little pieces. This is the origin of the different genres of theatre: drama, comedy, musical, vaudeville, cooking, sex, and algebra.
