Anyone out there got a recommendation for a scale w/ 8-contact body composition calculations? AFAICT, the 8-contact machines are accurate enough that tracking BF% with them is useful.

I want something other than BMI to track / target. I don't want to _have_ to use their app. My existing information is in Google Fit. The device must not require Internet connectivity for initial set-up or use.

Well, after 8 years of service my trusty Edwin Jagger DE89 #SafetyRazor finally kicked it (threads in the handle stripped). Picked up a RazoRock Game Changer .68-P with the bulldog handle and first impressions, it's a great replacement (paired with Astra Platinums)! @baralheia yup! NEVER saw these jam either, they were absolute workhorses. Definitely in the #BuyItForLife #BIFL category.

Didn't get my latest #sewing project finished because half way through I got sick of my old cheap sewing machine having hissy fits and vapours all the time. So on the off chance I looked on gumtree and found a lovely Bernina going cheap because the speed control didn't work. Pro tip: if you find any old variable speed electric motor-based appliances that don't work because of a fault with the speed control, the fix will almost always be a dried up capacitor. Even at Jaycar's ridiculously inflated prices this is going to be a fifty cent part. And with older, well made appliances it's usually made to be accessible for repair or servicing.
That's how I own a few of my #BuyItForLife appliances, like my Kenwood Chef, Sunbeam Mixmaster and now Bernina 1010, all of which combined cost less than $AU200. #FixThings
So after a walk to Jaycar and a bit of soldering it's as good as new. My mum has a much older Bernina, and I've always wanted one, so I'm super happy. attachment.

Without a doubt, there are both bigger & cooler saws out there.

But you can take my #Stihl ms250 from me when you pry it from my cold dead hands.

Best damn all-around workhorse there is.

Some may consider this key to be gross overkill for someone who is just starting out learning #MorseCode, but I would have to disagree. This #BegaliExpedition is so crisp and precise, that 75% of my keying errors have just disappeared. Price was a bit spicy but I will likely own this key forever. #BuyItForLife Also, Bruna at Begali is one of the nicest people you will ever do business with. I hope to meet her IRL at #DaytonHamvention next year.
