  13. I've made an almost hands-free #Fedora #CoreOS #pihole setup.

I add a conf file to tell systemd-resolved not to listen on port 53, and then I need to restart systemd-resolved before pi-hole.service can run.

Does anybody know how to restart a service from #Butane or #Ignition?

  16. Folks that are using for with or how do you handle secrets in the configuration?

I'm looking at the idea of removing the config after initial boot or some other option.

One route would be to use single use secerts (which work for say which supports them) but not for others

  22. Lest you think I only talk about computers and movies, here is a little home project I've been working on.

This is a Godzilla butane lighter made by Beetland in 1985. You light it by pulling down on his spines, and the flame shoots out of his mouth.

Unfortunately, the rubber o-ring on the output valve had degraded, so it would just spray butane and catch itself on fire. I managed to find a replacement from a watch repair site, but now I have to figure out the right kind of grease to use to make it seal properly. I tried it with just silicone lubricant, but the butane still sputters a bit and won't light. Its also possible that the sponge material underneath the valve, called "molt pran" apparently, is so old it has hardened to the point that butane won't pass through smoothly.

    Suggestions welcome!

  27. Anyone has experience with Fedora CoreOS, Flatcar or OpenSUSE MicroOS..

Do u daily drive it on ur server? How is it compare to normal distros?
