But holy hell. The author does not know how to write. Fucker named multiple characters “yada yada Paw” and *still* insists on using “pawed at the ground” and “got to his paws”.
Fucking hell dude. Writing for elementary or jr high / middle schoolers does not equate to grating phrasing or impulsive conflating.

Avatar: the Last Airbender was great *and* is also a children’s show.

Heroes is dogshit *and* was somehow aimed at adults.

I really hope the author gets lessons and an editor later in the series.
There are multiple sequels and spin-offs that I saw on Libro.fm right.

I needed a nice low-stakes bedtime story to allay The Fucking Horrors before sleep. So there’s that.
The audiobook narrator / voice actor does a startlingly good differentiation of characters.
