I’ve been feeling kind of weary since this morning. I’ve had a lot on over the last month, an earlier house sit, a trip to Melbourne, home for just a few days with my NZ friend then back out to Chiltern with her. I’ve spent nearly 3 weeks with my friend & virtually living in each others pockets along with everything else. Today after I dropped my friend at the station I stripped the bed she used, washed & dried the sheets & remade the bed. I’ve vacuumed the house & cleaned up the kitchen. I also took myself off for a good long walk, saw a beautiful little red Robin in a bush, but the picture is very blurry.
Looking forward to my home tomorrow & my own bed, my own space & some much needed alone time!
In two weeks I have a short weekend house sit & two weeks after that I have my big 6 week house sit. That will take me into October & I’ll be done for the year. No more sits & definitely no more long sits ever! #HouseSit #PetSit #BusyLife

The Thanksgiving holiday shifted our garbage pickup by a day but then, because we had guests and were distracted, we forgot to put the trash out the next day and now we're approaching Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout levels of refuse here. I'm glad it's going to be cold this week so the trash doesn't start to stink up the garage.

Woke up early this morning with a sinus headache. Took something for it, but it's still here. So much for sleeping in.

Now I'm sitting on the deck with a coffee and the cat while waiting for the wife to come down so we can hit up some early brunch.

It has been a long week. Dayjob was busy and I had four live streaming events, a rehersal, and had to create assets for one of the shows. Not a normal week. So I packed up my laptop with photos from last Saturday that I took and after brunch, the wife and I are headed to a coffee shop to hang out, listen to music and I'll sift photos.

Even on a day off, I feel compelled to do something. But I do realize I need to make more time for me to be doing less.

Sorry I haven't been on here in a bit, been very busy. A huge project I've been working on for 12 years of my life is nearing the end and I've been having long nights. 😅

Hopefully it'll be released soon.
