A jazz super-group of #kennybarron on piano, #charlierouse on tenor, #benriley on drums, and #busterwilliams on bass, this group put out seven critically acclaimed albums between 1982 and 1997. They played tribute to #theloniusmonk on many tracks (naturally, with Charlie Rouse and Ben Riley in the band), but they quickly developed their own unique sound.
