To me, an "exact match" means you verified the population is identical and you compared all variables at the individual record level. Yes, that's a PITA with floating point computation. If you don't want to do that, fine, but quit lying by saying you have an exact match. You did not perform a thorough enough check to know whether you have an "exact match" or not.

You telling me you get "an exact match" is at minimum, a lie of omission, when I find out that you are using an overall summary with rounded figures for comparison, and that summary is only on a few key variables.
You can hide a lot of defects in summary report with a large population.
