The second #NeuroqueerMeetings happened today.
I was alone. 😭 My bf was busy.
I took advantage of my solitude to order a veggie burger. I figured that if it were to disintegrate and make a mess, there wouldn't be witnesses. 😛

So my bf and I went to Busboys and Poets, and we had a great time.
Did you know that the place is black owned? Yeah, this white oblivious enby did not realize it, but my bf (who is black) quickly picked up on it. 😂 It was his first time there, and my second.
He loved the place. I hit a home run with this location.

After my first visit at Busboys and Poets, I've decided to establish recurring events for neurodivergent and queer folks.

I don’t get to spend much time doing things I like these days - I should make more time for it, especially outside my house. But even though it’s a chilly rainy day in #dc, I got out for #indiebookstoreday and I don’t mind the rain or the expense. I’m lucky enough to not face poverty over this, so for fucking once I’m treating myself to a day out of the house.
