Protesters brought a catapult to launch burning tires into the French city of Quimper after demands that the hospital, suffering a doctor shortage, should open 24 hours a day and that staff numbers be increased, were ignored.The protest comes in the wake of the death of a six-month-old girl who was brought to the hospital, but due to greed causing a lack of staff, was left unattended and untreated.
Hospital management and city authorities deny wrong doing and refuse to comment.
