Archaeologists from the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences have uncovered a burial necropolis from the 4th to 3rd century BCE.

A wondrous cross slab (replica) from Carrowantemple, Kilfree, Sligo, Ireland. 14 early Christian slabs were discovered here, and replaced with replicas between 1984-86. They only came to the attention of archaeologists in 1973. Some say the figure represents God, others Jesus or a pagan deity. I prefer the 'spaceman' determination 😉😁 (Credit: Irish archaeology)
