Pentagon have officially demanded the creation of GBU-76/B that will be 20000 to 30000 pounds (10T to 15T) with deep penetration capabilities to target bunkers that current bombs can't destroy.

Unconfirmed reports from military sources claiming that Iran managed to recover multiple American bombs from the sites across the country, including the GBU-57 bunker buster
The bombs are sent to IRGC engineering units for reverse engineering and some say that Araghchi sent one to Russia during his visit there (highly unlikely, because he traveled from Islamabad to St. Petersburg).
Anyway, this is a very interesting development and judging by previous successful reverse engineering jobs by #IRGC, I bet we will see Iranian missiles with bunker buster war heads in a not so distant future.
This will be a major setback for both US and Israel.

Exactly between two rescue operations for the crew members of the F-15E fighter jet that was shot down on Friday, B-2A Spirit strategic bombers, after a 36-hour flight over the Atlantic Ocean, attacked the secret underground headquarters of the IRGC during an important meeting in Tehran using GBU-57A/B MOP (15T bomb) bunker-buster bombs. The Pentagon is currently assessing the casualties, and it is estimated that a large number of high-ranking IRGC commanders have died.
PS. Most of America B-1 bombers are loaded and flown out of US bases in the UK. B-2 bombers either fly directly from US bases, make re-filling landing in the UK or flown from British base in Diego Garcia

The CENTCOM announces that the USAF has "employed" multiple 5,000lbs bunker buster munitions on hardened Iranian SSM sites across the coastline of the strait of 'Hormuz'.
Hours ago, 2 "B-1B Lancer" Strategic Bombers were reported returning from bombing Operations from the Persian Gulf.
The USAF has possibly used "GBU-28" or "GBU-72" bombs.

#Hegseth said that a choice to move a number of B-2 bombers from their base in Missouri earlier Saturday was meant to be a decoy to throw off #Iran.
He added that the #US used other methods of deception as well, deploying fighters to protect the B-2 bombers that dropped 14 #BunkerBuster bombs on Iran’s most powerful #nuclear site. He said that all of these tactics helped the U.S. drop the bombs without tipping off Iran’s fighter jets or its air missile systems.

Even before the war with Iran started it was clear that even the best bunker buster bombs probably couldn't destroy the deepest facilities in Iran. It makes the rationality of a US participation in the war less clear, Israel doesn't need US help to destroy other kinds of targets.

Completely destroying Fordow, which Israeli intelligence estimates to go down as far as 300ft (90 metres), would require the US to soften the ground with conventional bombs and then ultimately drop a tactical nuclear bomb from a B2 bomber to wipe out the entire facility, a scenario Trump is not considering.

I'm seeing reports of #Israel using #BunkerBuster bombs, but did you know that #DepletedUranium is often used in those bombs?
"Often, these types of bombs use depleted #uranium in their casing, similar to certain shells, which enhances their strength. While this does not make them #nuclear weapons, it does disperse #radioactive contamination at the impact site, which can be felt in an area of several meters, at low levels."
