I've been watching #youtube videos of #thrillseeker #tourist destinations where they go #bungee jumping and #zipline riding and all that. As someone who has gone #skydiving, I cannot recommend it enough as the ultimate risky thrill. It was just a 15 second tandem free-fall but damn was it exhilarating!
To me, nothing says bonkers, and happy to be, more than paying to deliberately jump out of a perfectly working airplane with nothing to save you from going splat but a parachute. 😆 🪂 -
Bungee cord shelf... I'm thinking there's non-zero chance this guy's little kid gets entangled in that while attempting to use the bungee shelf as a ladder. 🤔

The sprint car driver I follow out of Jacksonville, Oregon, Tanner Holmes, is currently in New Zealand racing over there. In between race days, the local hosts are showing him the most exhilarating attractions of the South Island.
Tanner posted this on Facebook. They went Bungee jumping, and, I dunno, I think they are cutting it sorta close here. If this is the very bottom of the ride, his hands are literally IN THE RIVER. Another foot and he'd be dunked.

Tanner posted this on Facebook. They went Bungee jumping, and, I dunno, I think they are cutting it sorta close here. If this is the very bottom of the ride, his hands are literally IN THE RIVER. Another foot and he'd be dunked.

Someone one provided me a link to a preferred source for buying bungee cords, but I lost it. Any suggestions on where to purchase (US) bungee cords and ends? (the big box hardware store bungees appear to have become unusable on bicycles... they've all moved to large chunky plastic ends instead of metal, probably due to lawsuits?)
(Update: looks like Dollar Tree may be a good option, apparently you have to buy CHEAP bungees for the decent ends... which is odd.)
