@MLNow Shakespeare in McClaren Park, really??? 🤔
The unnamed SF park that was included in part of the famous chase scene in the movie #Bullit.
I was born & raised in SF and have only been "in" McClaren Park once in m life & I doubt many native San Franciscans have ever been their either, given its remote location & unsavory reputation.
The area -- including Visitation Valley & the Excelsior -- certainly is not a target audience for the performance of any of Shakespeare's plays & I'd be curious to hear/see how many people actually attend.
