You guys got me in a #bulldada mode, so I'm watching the old Disney "20k Leagues Under the Sea".
Like the old "Doctor Dolittle", it forgets it's a kids' movie and is twice as long as it should be.
The squid-sequence was really good -- life-size puppet instead of stop motion. Beyond that, you're not missing much...

1. There is fine literary science fiction #bulldada contained within.
2. It's real downloadable epubs rather than magic unlock codes at an online bookstore.
3. The author needs encouragement to finish his novelizations of "Cabin Boy" and "Cabin Boy 2: Cabin Man".

Hanging out by the docks reading old horror comics. One thing I always wanted as a kid were all the 12” monster/SF/effect #bulldada records that were in the mail-order ads.
Never got the records, but between YouTube and Internet Archive, they all seem to be out there now.
