Dragonfly or damselfly? Sierra Alacrán, Sonora, Mexico.
I'm finally going through my photos from the biodiversity cataloging expedition in September.Edit to question the species. While this will go to an expert for ID before being uploaded to the database, I'm guessing it's a species of dragonfly, not damselfly, as I'd originally posted. I've never seen a damselfly with wings held out like that while at rest.
