While watering, I saw a solitary honey bee on the Queen Ann’s Lace flower. I just noticed a tiny sweat bee in the bottom left corner!

I spotted two native ladybugs on my lemon tree today! I hope they eat all the scale bugs on it!

Peppa the paperWasp was doing this yesterday—blowing a droplet of apple juice right out of her mouth and sucking it back in—several times. It was fascinating to see. I assume it was enjoyable to her?

The paperWasp I took in yesterday can’t seem to fly. I let her be outside on the jasmine plant for a while, but she appeared eager to come back to her safe container. So, I took her back inside. There are too many birds here (because I offer a few cups of birdseeds) and not safe for a disabled insects.
Anyway, she just ate some apple and went to rest on begonia flower. 🌺🐝

A teeny leafhopper by the front door. Went for an afternoon hike, and when we returned, the hopper was still there. 🤍🥹

Some paperWasps drink from the droplets on the broad leaves as soon as I water my flowerbed for this reason. They know it’s the cleanest water. 💚💧🐝✨

This evening, I was chatting up this blue dragonfly to perch on my fingertips at Fells’ forest, which they did twice, but didn’t stay on long enough for a photo. I love how some of them are so friendly. I was telling them how I could summon some mosquitos for them to snack. lol

A plump monarch butterfly caterpillar on milkweed in the under-the-cherryTree flowerbed on the sidewalk.
This made my day. 💚🤩😍🐛✨
I grew the milkweed from seeds and planted them several years ago.

My pollinators!! 🥰💧🐝🌸🐝✨💕
A couple of paperWasps came to drink as I refresh the birdbaths.
(The rim of the tray is textured and nonslip, so they have a firm grip. There’s usually a leaf or two floating for bug safety.😉)Bumblebees love the milkweed flowers.

@futurebird I’m assuming this is also a carpenter ant? This one was in Medford, MA.
Ants make a wonderful subject to film around. 🥰🐜✨ -

@futurebird Hello. I used to feature ants in my short video loops on occasion. Some ants are so lucky to live in beautiful places. Fascinating creatures.
If you can tell us anything about this little ant, that’d be wonderful. Thank you. (More info on AltText :)

Long legged fly? in February in Massachusetts?? There’s still snow on the ground. I suppose s/he could have hatched indoors around my wintering trees and plants…

It’s been a rather warm November, the white butterfly caterpillars that hitchhiked on the arugula in the community garden were able to fly away last week.
