To me it's the perfect system, but I have to wait until I feel like #nixpkgs has matured.
You can still make a lean, properly configured system run like a dream - rock solid and super stable. I love how you can just mess around with system functions, schedulers, and so much more in an easy and convenient way.
No lie, #nixos will become the next #btwiusearch, because once flakes is the defacto standard and #nixpkgs has gotten to a certain point, top 5. Right up there with #Fedora and #Ubuntu.

wow, this needs to be taken under control (turbodebian?) otherwise we might end up with all installations being arch :-)
imagine a virus with such a payload? most *buntu users won't even pause to doublecheck when a window pops up asking for sudo password o_O and bam! next bootup there's the dreaded «btw YOU use arch» welcome screen.

i love that the whole meme of 'btw, i use arch' is equivalent to both saying 'i only wear magnum condoms' but also '...and i'm a priest'

A parcel from #Valve was delivered the other day.
This is because daughter & daddy ordered themselves a special present for #Xmas2021, which now, a few weeks after our respective birthdays #2022, finally arrived.
The #steamdeck (we got the 256GB version) is somewhat bigger than expected, looks and feels great and the performance so far is fantastic.

Докрутил как смог :) Теперь использую максимальное полезное пространство экрана и при этом без крайностей типа отсутсвия тайтлбаров. Если кому интересно, позже опублишу как это всё настраивал :3 #btwiusearch -
