Zwei besondere #Moos-Schönheiten an einer Alm am #Geigelstein. Das Norvegische Drehzahnmoos (#Syntrichia norvegica) ist eine Gebirgsart und gut an seinen braunen Glashaaren erkennbar. An einem Kuhstall fruchtete das Silbermoos (#Bryum argenteum), ein sensationelles Naturgemälde. Die Art ist häufig in Pflasterritzen und auf Wegen und bildet derzeit ihre leuchtend bunten Kapseln aus, die wie kleine Birnen aussehen. 😍 #Bryology #Bryologie #mosstodon

仕事からの帰り道、蒴をつけたヒョウタンゴケを探して2㎞ほど遠回りして歩いたけど、ヒョウタンゴケは見つけられなかった。
でも、ここのハリガネゴケの集団は、いろんな成長段階の胞子体をたくさんつけていて面白かった☺️

Watch my little friend here rehydrate before your very eyes! This sample is from ASPA135 near #CaseyStation in #Antarctica, we desiccate and freeze our samples to store them & rehydrate them to identify which species they are 🌿

Visual estimates tell me this is #Bryum & either #Ceratodon or #Schistidium, but I’ll have to check their cell shape to tell!

I love you red basal cells

I love you empty hyaline cells

I love you lush green chloroplasts

I love you rhomboid snakeskin pattern

I love you #Bryum pseudotriquetrum 🌿

乾いて、閉じた葉がねじれかかっている
霧吹きを携帯するのを忘れたので、開いた葉の様子を撮れなかった

ホソウリゴケとは葉の形がちょっと違うけど、見れば見るほど悩んでドツボにハマる
どこにでもいる #コケ なんだけど、う～ん…難しいなあ　（7, December 2022）
