Batman: Knightfall Part 1 (2026)

«Batman: Knightfall Part 1» es la primera parte de una trilogía que narra la famosísima saga Knightfall. Este episodio adapta desde el origen de Bane hasta la caída del murciélago, con un guion muy apegado a los cómics originales. Este punto es muy favorable para los más conocedores del material original, pero puede jugar en contra para el espectador casual.

Y es que el guion se enfoca únicamente en Bruce Wayne/Batman y Bane, dejando totalmente de lado el trasfondo de Jean-Paul Valley/Azrael y Tim Drake/Robin, personajes cruciales para esta primera parte y las venideras. Y no es difícil saber que pasará lo mismo con Dick Grayson/Nightwing en las siguientes entregas.

Aun así, creo que es una buena adaptación. Si obviamos lo débil de la motivación de Bane para enemistarse con Batman (lo cual proviene del cómic), es una buena película. Se le da un buen trabajo narrativo al agotamiento físico y mental de Batman antes de su caída, la animación es buena (por fin dejaron de usar la aburrida animación del Tomorrowverse) y no se restringieron en la violencia, llegando a ser muy visceral.

Si eres fan del murciélago, es una cinta que recomiendo a ojos cerrados. Es lo mejor que ha sacado en animación DC desde la finalización del universo DCAMU (el cual concluyó con la película «Justice League Dark: Apokolips War»).
