So it looks like I have to say goodbye to the #Ark #browser as they have turned off the #uBlockOrigin #browserPlugin for good - no manual activation anymore.

This plugin is more important to me than any well designed browser feature.

I have ideas but am open for suggestions.

Für Cookie-Banner Nerverei kann ich unbedingt die Browsererweiterung "Consent-o-matic" von der Universität Aarhus (Dänemark) empfehlen!

Diese erkennt die meisten Cookie-Banner Abfragen und gibt so wenig wie möglich frei! In den Einstellungen kann aber auch mehr freigegeben werden.

Die Browsererweiterung ist Open-Source, wird von der Universität Aarhus betreut und läuft auf den gängigsten Browsern.

Ich hab dadurch schon eine Menge Klickerei gespart!

Imagine a browser plugin, that would use a Virtua Cop 2 sound sample to shout "RELOAD" every time you hit F5. For a bonus it might flash the text and draw the player UI while the page loads.

It has no point besides being fun.

My new absolute favorite Mastodon browser extension is Streetpass. As you browse the web, any site that has a mastodon verification link embedded in it it adds it to its list so you can find people on mastodon from the places you go. So far it's been pretty fantastic AND unlike all those stupid bridge sites it's privacy conscious in that it's only local, just what you're browsing, and isn't scraping the fediverse.

Kennt jemand ein gutes #Browserplugin zum Abschneiden von #Tracking-URLs, das ich selbst auch konfigurieren (ergänzen) kann? Mein genutztes Plugin greift ausschließlich auf ein externes Repository für die Config zu und da komme ich nicht ran bzw. das Projekt reagiert nicht auf meine Bugreports.
